B+H was engaged to provide the design services of a brand new 500 sqm flagship store and office space located inside Beijing’s core within the 3rd ring road for a well-known Chinese Pawnshop and Fund company known as “Zhongtai”. Current and past pawnshops had high counters which meant customers could not see shop keepers and were not well respected enter into and out of the pawnshop. Our concept was to create a luxury vintage retail shop and banking center that had VIP white glove service and a warm inviting environment that was inspired by the organic crystallization process of diamonds that would exist 50 years later and bring it into existence today.
