The Ritz Carlton Hotel’s proximity to the marina of Herzliya, with view of the sea spread out on the horizon and the yacht masts, led us to create a design inspired by the sailing world.
The hotel lobby is designed as an atrium space and is located between the two parts of the building. In designing the public floors we aspired to keep the human scale versus the large atrium space, and to maintain an open view to the sea. Corridors combined with video art, create a live experience by presenting temporary works of art which are exposed the guests while they move from one space to another. The items we designed and the intimate spaces we created, maintain the sense of openness and power of the landscape that is unique to this location and was a great inspiration for us.
