DAZZLINGLY NEW SWAROVSKI LIGHTING CENTERPIECES IGNITE MILAN
April 12th -17th
Milan, Italy
Swarovski is proud to unveil its SWAROVSKI LIGHTING CENTERPIECES at the international lighting exhibition Euroluce 2011, April 12th through 17th in Milan, Italy. The inaugural collection of chandeliers is completely manufactured by Swarovski and will be presented alongside SWAROVSKI LUMINAIRES AND LIGHTING SYSTEMS and the SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL PALACE COLLECTION. These three lighting collections define their spaces with graceful elegance. They utilize cutting-edge design and innovations designed to exploit and enhance the natural marriage of crystal and light.
The sheer range of invention of the SWAROVSKI LIGHTING CENTERPIECES collection captures a broad spectrum of styles and desires. Each of the six brilliantly designed product families expresses the Swarovski design language, as uniquely interpreted by its designer, and is a forward-thinking creation.
From Todd Bracher, there is the minimalist ‘Strandelier’ with its delicately floating crystals, each possessing for the designer its own special magic which it adds to the uncompromising luxury of the whole. Constructed from glass panels with Crystal Fabric, the aptly baptized ‘Deconstruct’ flings its light out into the room, the shimmering effects of its crystals racing to escape its rigid forms.
The crystalline purity of nature on a frosty winter’s day serves as the inspiration for ‘Crystalline Icicles’ from S. Russell Groves, which possesses the magical shimmer of an ice curtain glowing with a polar light. The pared down ‘ReveaLED’, designed by Andre Kikoski, stuns with its surprisingly understated purity of form and otherworldly glow, which emanates from the sparkling crystal inner surface.
Stephen Burks’s ‘Inside/Out’ achieves a reductive elegance with light channeled through crystal that is not merely decorative but also a functioning optical element.
And lastly, the expressionist ‘Crystal Empire’ re-interprets the classic chandelier style through a combination of crystal and leather strapping that uses extravagant contemporary light technology to achieve a piece of quiet opulence and timeless refinement.
SWAROVSKI LUMINAIRES AND LIGHTING SYSTEMS have been designed to lend an exclusive and sophisticated ambiance to any interior. Clear and outstanding design, avant-garde shapes and beautiful crystal patterns, as well as the total reflection makes these luminaires free from glare.
The SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL PALACE COLLECTION also presents new designs certain to amaze and inspire all those who admire the blending of design excellence with unsurpassed luxury. Its flamboyant edition ‘Casino Royale’ is a purely glamorous creation from Kravitz Design Inc., founded by rock icon Lenny Kravitz. This monumental testament to modern design esthetic is now available in four different sizes, including a smaller model for above-the-table applications.
Swarovski is also presenting an exclusive ‘Casino Royale Limited Edition’ of twenty-two pieces bearing the signature and authorization of Lenny Kravitz.
SWAROVSKI LIGHTING CENTERPIECES, SWAROVSKI LUMINAIRES AND LIGHTING SYSTEMS, and the SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL PALACE COLLECTION are all collections of atmospheric beauty achieved through the very best of today’s design innovation. They possess the power to convey an emotional aura of sophistication to any design interior.
