Building on the success of the first phase of this landmark design centre, in Thailand’s capital, world-class architecture and interior firm dwp further developed the masterplan for a 32,000sqm extension.

Comprising multiple two-storey units that house small- and medium-sized retail outlets, the design ties together 14 buildings through a series of walkways, bridges and integrated graphics. A central elliptical plaza offers a prime location for events and special activities, as well as an extraordinary view over the Crystal Design Centre Phase 1, also designed by dwp.

Between the buildings, a courtyard cleverly clusters a group of small kiosks. The central boulevard of the Phase 2 masterplan intentionally continues the main axis from Phase 1, creating a spatial connection between the two. The contemporary design of this educational precinct ensures the Crystal Design Centre’s position, as a benchmark for learning and creative facilities, throughout Asia.
