South Korean industrial designer Ramei Keum (Co-work with Jungjin So) has recently designed the XY door handle.
The door viewed from the front executes its function through rotation against the Z axis, and the door handle executes its function with the X axis rotating against the Y axis.
The interpretation about axis is the beginning and the end of “XY” design, and the intersection of X axis and Y axis adds hanger functionality to the door handle.
